Urethra and reconstructive urology is a specialized field of urology concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of structural and functional disorders of the urinary tract. The urethra is the channel that allows urine to be eliminated from the bladder, and strictures, damage, or congenital anomalies that develop in this structure can seriously affect the patient’s daily life.
