Prof. Dr. Abdulmuttalip Şimşek
Prof. Dr. Abdulmuttalip Şimşek graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2005 and completed his residency training in Urology at Vakif Gureba Hospital in 2010. He continued his academic and clinical work at the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Lutfiye Nuri Burat State Hospital and Haseki Training and Research Hospital.
Having received the title of Associate Professor in 2015, Prof. Dr. Abdulmuttalip Şimşek carried out international academic and clinical work at the University of Sheffield and Hallamshire Hospital. After returning to Turkey, Prof. Dr. Abdulmuttalip Şimşek worked at various training and research hospitals and has continued his work as a urology specialist at Memorial Bahcelievler Hospital since 2024.

Hello everyone, First of all, I would like to thank my doctor from the bottom of my heart. About 6 months ago we had my father operated on by him. My father had a urethral stricture, and even though we went to many doctors, no one wanted to operate, saying, "You have to live with a catheter like this." Fortunately, we reached our doctor. He performed the operation successfully. His catheter was removed just 10 days after the operation. Today, my father, who was told he "has to live with a catheter," is both in very good spirits and able to urinate quite comfortably.On behalf of my father and my family, I offer my endless thanks to our doctor and his team for their understanding, care and effort. Urethral Stricture
On November 6th I had urinary tract stricture surgery. My operation went very successfully. With such a successful team, a successful result was inevitable anyway. The level of care and service was excellent. I thank my doctor and all his colleagues.
Robotic Prostate
I consulted Dr. Abdulmuttalip Şimşek after being diagnosed with prostate cancer. From the very first meeting, he had a very reassuring, clear and sincere approach. He performed my robotic prostate surgery himself, and the whole process was extremely professional and comfortable from start to finish. In the post-operative period, they cared about every detail and were very supportive. I was very anxious because I came from Adiyaman. Would I have a problem, where would I stay? Thankfully his team even helped me with accommodation. They recommended a suitable boutique hotel close to the hospital.Thankfully my pathology results came back good. The catheter was removed after one week. He called me for a check-up every 3 months along with a blood test. May God bless him a thousand times; they had told me I couldn't have surgery and needed radiation therapy. They said every operation has its own risks.
